17th ANNUAL BANFF INTERNATIONAL MARKET SIMULATION
Win a chance to bring your project to market at BANFF 2001 and
pitch it to a world market of programmers, financiers and buyers.
This year we are looking for projects that focus on Drama, Entertainment
or Children's programming. In the case of Canadian projects, preference
will be given to projects currently enjoying development support
from Telefilm Canada, a Provincial Development Agency and/ or a
Canadian broadcaster.
The deadline for submissions was April 30, 2001, applications
are no longer being accepted.
All submissions will be reviewed and 6 to 8 finalists will be selected
to pitch their projects during one of the two Market Simulation
sessions: Drama and Entertainment on June 12 and Children's programming
on June 14.
CONDITIONS:
- Short-listed finalists must be registered at BANFF 2001 and be
present to pitch their projects at the appropriate Market Simulation
seminar on either Tuesday, June 12 or Wednesday, June 14, 2001.
- Individuals participating must pitch their projects either in English
or in French - their choice.
- The only applications to be considered are ones using the Market
Simulation Call
for Submissions online form; please do not send
additional outlines, treatments or other details.
- If submitting more than one project, use separate forms for each
project.
- No telephone enquiries please. Applicants whose projects are short-listed
for inclusion in the Market Simulation will be contacted directly
and asked to submit additional information.
